Wrinkle treatment
Wrinkles caused by loss of elasticity and volume can be smoothed with hyaluronic acid.
Wrinkles in the lower third of the face are a classic area of application for hyaluronic acid. These wrinkles include nasolabial folds, marionette lines and wrinkles around the mouth area.
How does the wrinkle injection work?
The injected hyaluronic acid binds water in the skin. This balances the wrinkle defect and the skin in the treated area is smoother again.
The effect lasts for about 9-12 months.
What complications can occur?
The following complications may occur with cross-linked and non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid injections:
-
Temporary redness and swelling.
-
Sensitivity of the injection site
-
Hemorrhages in the tissue
-
Local intolerance reactions (e.g. granulomas)
What is the cost of treatment with hyaluronic acid?
Prices vary depending on the location and complexity. In general, costs can be expected to range from about 380 euros to 650 euros.
